Hidden Glory

When Moses received the ten commandments on the stone tablets and had close and personal contact with God for 40 days, his face glowed so much, upon his return to the people, that he had to cover it, as the people could not look upon it. This also had a symbolic meaning, as we read in the above scripture that there are still many religious Jews who only recognize the Torah (5 Books of Moses) and are still awaiting the coming of the Messiah even though He has already come a long time ago. As a result, some (not only Jews) have a false assumption that Paul is a great deceiver and servant of Satan because his facts are wrong and he speaks of a Saviour and Messiah that cannot possibly be genuine. This evil slander also influences believers who accept Jesus, but see Paul as someone who turns the teachings of Jesus upside down and so to speak falsifies Christianity. Here the devil has accomplished his task of instilling discord and lies into the hearts of these people. These people also have a vail upon their heads which cover their eyes, causing them to have a nebulous view. This can only be changed by turning around. And only through repentance effectuated by God (Romans 2:4). That is the reason why many Jews don't recognize the New Testament. It is (still) hidden to them through God's judgement. Therefore they also don't know Jesus Christ, for whom HE is (Revelation 1:12-18). That is Biblical Truth! A Jesus is even mentioned in the Koran, however it is not in line with Biblical truth. Jesus was not merely a subordinate prophet. In all religions and esoteric, Jesus is honoured in some way or another.

But what the biblical Jesus says, in spirit and in truth, was and is questioned. And indeed by people who don't possess the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14). In Luke 22:66-68 we read: “And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led Him into their council, saying, Art thou the Christ? tell us. And He said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe: And if I also ask you, ye will not answer Me, nor let Me go.” People believe that which a false Christ says. Arrogant dealings with biblical truth, always stem from blindness and a fanatical perversion of truth. This was formerly the case, and nowadays has become extremely eminent again. That is why the Saviour Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone which holds all things together (Acts 4:11). Whoever rejects HIM, becomes unhinged, believes lies and is afflicted by spiritual blindness. We are living in explosive and dangerous times. Christians are being persecuted and attacked more and more. They are criticised within their own circles and reviled as fanatics and fundamentalists. A Jesus who is more of a humanistic good person is preached, rather than the only-begotten Son of the Almighty God and the Lamb of God who takes away sin (John 3:16). Jesus Himself warned about these times. In Matthew 24:23-25 we read: “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.” Amen.
